SMART PROJECTOR

The PIL Smart Projector is an ultra-short distance projector that is easily mounted on the wall inside an elevator, in retail spaces and other locations, that delivers a detailed, high-resolution image day and night.  The projector plays audible motions and static advertisements. It has an IR motion sensor that stops broadcasting as soon as the elevator doors open or when it’s not in use. 

The PIL Smart Projector is capable of detecting simple audience characteristics such as an estimating gender, age, or general emotional state, in order to create relevant advertising campaigns for a different targeted audience. For more technical information download our brochure.

SLIM DUAL

The PIL Slim Dual is a next-gen multi-screen digital signage media display, with Intel Core processor, 2 built-in stereo speakers and over 99% coverage of the sRGB spectrum to display impactful messaging with top-quality visuals.

The Slim Dual has built-in speakers so there is no need for an external speaker. It also has a built-in Wi-Fi and Lan connection which helps to keep the device online 24/7.

Slim Dual is capable of detecting the age and gender of viewers in order to create relevant advertising campaigns for different targeted audience.

VIDEO ANALYTICS

Video analytics has improved dramatically in recent years with regards to high-level accuracy, performance and advancements in facial recognition abilities.  

Retailers use video analytics to obtain information about customer flow, frequenting hot-spots, product placement, line lengths, and in-store advertising effectiveness.  

Advertising agencies use video analytics to measure the impact of an ad to a passerby or bystander. These solutions can detect a face (including if it’s male or female, age) as well as the face’s movement – whether it’s looking at the ad on the wall, and if so, for how long and what emotions it has.

Obviously, facial recognition technology and privacy concerns lately has raised a lot of eyebrows. That’s why we decided to dedicate this issue to this topic and tell you more about the way we use face recognition technology in our units.

 

How does video analytic algorithm work within our products?

As a part of AI-based software there is a function to use a Client’s existing system of video analytics to determine the gender (male or female) and the age (elderly, adult, or young) and the number of views within the field of vision of the camera. Only the classified parameters are used for statistics and analytics purposes.
